Discover Spearfishing
This course is intended for students who would like to discover spearfishing. You will learn the basic freediving techniques to get you more comfortable and efficient in the water. The shooting area will be setup to practice shooting with a speargun.
The Spearo Course
The Spearo course is a state of the art program that has been developed for new spearo’s to learn new skills and already active spearos to refine their hunting abilities safely. During the course you will learn about the gear needed for spearfishing and how to use them, the ethics of spearfishing, breathing techniques, hunting techniques and how to deal with emergency situations.
Advanced Spearo Course
The Advanced Spearo course has been designed for the spearo that has significant experience and wants to refine their technique to become a better hunter at greater depths. During the course you will learn about advanced spearfishing equipment The breathing techniques will be revisited, advanced equalisation techniques, advanced hunting techniques, ocean conditions, how to spearfish off a boat and use the GPS on the boat. You will also cover what to pack in your first aid kit.
Spearfishing First Aid & Rescue
Spearfishing first Aid & Rescue is a basic first aid and CPR course designed with for free-divers and spearfisherman. It covers all the basic needs for basic first aid, CPR and secondary care with the main focus being on freediving and spearfishing related injuries and scenarios.
Pole Spear Course
The Pole spear course is a specialty course to challenge yourself underwater. During the course you will learn about the different types of pole spears, how to set them up and how to use them. It will give you an advantage to spearfish in the countries where the trigger mechanism banned.
Gear Maintenance
Gear maintenance is a very important part of spearfishing. The Gear Maintenance specialty course provide you with the necessary knowledge to know exactly the function of your equipment and how to maintain it. Basic gear maintenance is a great skill to have if you need to fix some equipment while on a spearfishing trip.
Spearfishing Videography
Spearfishing Videography is the perfect course for the spearo that would like to master the basics of spearfishing with a video camera. During the course you will learn about cameras and housings, introduction to editing software available on your smart phone and your laptop, how to capture and log footage, basic editing.
Deep Spearfishing
Deep spearfishing is a specialty course designed for the Advanced Spearo that wants dive and target deeper fish species. You will learn how to plan en execute deeper dives while using advanced equalizing techniques with focus on a streamlined body position.
Spearfishing Guide
The Spearfishing Guide specialty course has been designed for the dedicated Advanced spearos that is interested to learn the details of how to become a successful guide. You will learn how to plan and prepare for day trips and overnight live-aboard trips.
Assistant Instructor Course
Welcome to the professional level. The assistance instructor course is a comprehensive course cover the different skills needed to move you from the recreational level to the professional level. During the course you will learn about teaching skills and techniques, supervisor groups in the confined or open water session.
The Spearo Instructor
The intent of the spearo instructor course is to give the candidate the Knowledge and skills to teach ISA courses in a safe environment and give unforgettable experience for the new students.
Advanced Instructor
The intent of the Advanced spearo instructor course. The course is an upgrade for the spearo instructors, who teach successfully 25 students ISA courses . The candidate must hold and pass two presentation to show his ability to teach the advanced spearfishing techniques.
Specialty & Rescue Instructor
This course is intended for Advanced Instructors that has completed all the ISA specialty courses and are interested in teaching the Spearfishing First aid and Rescue course and all other specialty courses.
Instructor Trainer
The intent of the Instructor Trainer course is to give to candidate the advanced knowledge, understanding and skills to prepare and teach new spearfishing instructors.
Course Director
The Course Director is the highest certification level in the ISA system. The course is intended for Instructor Trainers who has a wealth of knowledge and experience to teach new Instructor Trainers.
